What is the best credit card for a first time user to credit?

Im looking for the best credit card. Im new to credit and never had a credit card before and im 23.

I want a really good credit card that wont get me into troble. I need a credit card so i can pay bills when i move out at the end of Jan.

I want a low interest and a 0% apr for 12 months if possible

Any advice?
OH AND NO ANNUAL FEES

Your apprehension on interest rates already worries me. If you want to build good credit and it is your first time, it isn't about the interest rate really…. it is about you paying it off religiously.

I have one credit card that I got in college. I use it every couple of months and pay it off accordingly.

Credit cards aren't about accruing debt.. their about establishing yourself in order to get a home or car loan eventually.

You may have to build up to a real credit card. I had to do a prepaid credit card. It shows up on your credit report as a real card so it builds up your credit. I have capitol one now and as long as I pay my payment it is a low apr.

Try Orchard Bank. You can apply on their website.

If you have been with a certain bank or credit union, go there. They will give you a secured card(you deposit so much into a savings account incase you default.)

For example, they will take $300 and your credit limit will be $300. You do not get this $300 back and it will not make payments for you.

Please pay in full every month, that is the only way not to get in trouble…

cards.hotusa.org – try this one. You can compare different credit cards and choose the best one for you.
Some of them provide 0% interest rate for 12-18 months.
