For example, if I spend $100 at a store, I earn a certain amount of “Cashback Bonus” on the $100. If I spend that same $100, but also select $60 extra cash back on the card reader at checkout, do I then earn “Cashback Bonus” on the entire $160? Thanks! nope!!

I blow it on stupid stuff. I've always just put it towards the bill, it works out the best for me. Although I'm often tempted to buy the things they offer "discounted" or whatever. My friend always gets the Omaha Steaks with hers.
